2014 Giant Cypress LX

Giant's Cypress LX makes riding fun and effortless thanks to a lively aluminum frame with serious comfort features. This fine bike is loaded with an ergonomic, upright position, adjustable stem and road-smoothing suspension fork and seatpost. The wonderful ride is complemented by an easy-pedaling Shimano 27-speed drivetrain and powerful linear-pull brakes. Plus, the Giant aluminum wheels and tires are ready to cruise and the saddle is cushy yet supportive!

    Comments:

Bought this one in October/14 at the Toronto Blow Out Sale. Good, but not great deal on the price. Winter is already setting in hard so have not had time to go for any long rides just yet. Getting too cold and miserable for me. I noticed the handle bars and stem loosened off a bit after about 20 minutes of riding. Could just be inattentive assembly. Good thing I had a multi tool with me. Nothing that can't be fixed with a little Lock Tight. I will have to add or change out some accessories to make it work for me, but so far I am quite happy with my new ride!

Rode 800 miles the first season... Added memory foam seat, specialized ergo grips, cat eye and night rider lights, jandd wedge and handlebar pouch... Love to ride this bike. Why did they drop the LX after 07? I love the trigger shifting and disc brakes!
